Everything you need to know about Corro.
A care circle is a small group of family — you, maybe your brother or sister — who stay gently in touch with how your mom or dad is doing, through the Apple Watch they already wear.
Your parent agrees once, plainly, on their own phone. From then on, the circle sees a quiet "all is well" and gets a weekly note in plain English. That's it. Nothing to configure, nothing to decode.
Everything. The circle only exists once your parent says yes — on their own phone, after seeing exactly what the circle will see and what it won't. Nothing is ever shared behind their back.
At any time, they can look at precisely what the circle sees, and they can pause or stop sharing — for everyone, or for one person — with one tap. Corro also gently reminds them, from time to time, that sharing is on.
A calm, plain-English sense of how they've been:
You never see raw numbers, charts, or scores. Corro shares the feeling, not the file — a worried reader at 2am doesn't need a heart-rate graph to misread; they need to know she's fine.
No — and the difference matters to us. Monitoring is done to someone: it watches, it collects, and the person watched has the least say. A care circle is the other way around. Your parent owns it: it exists only because she agreed, she sees exactly what you see, and she can end it whenever she likes.
And what's shared isn't her data — it's the warm, plain answer to "how's she been?" The same thing she'd tell you on a good phone call, without either of you having to make it a check-in.
No. Corro is not an emergency system and never will be. Fall detection, crash detection, and Emergency SOS are Apple's job — they're built into the Apple Watch your parent already wears, and we'd encourage every family to make sure they're set up.
Corro never replaces them, and we say so plainly during setup. The strongest thing Corro ever says is "worth a call."
No. Corro describes how someone's been — never whether they are healthy or at risk. No diagnosis, no clinical interpretation, no medical advice. For anything that warrants a professional opinion, see a doctor.
Your parent needs an iPhone and an Apple Watch — the ones they already have. Nothing new to buy, nothing new to wear. Family members just need the Corro app on their own phone.

Health data comes from Apple Health, with explicit permission, and is stored encrypted with database-level protections so only the right person can ever read their own records. It's never sold, never shared with advertisers, and never used to train AI models.

In the app, go to Settings → Data & Privacy → Delete All My Data. This permanently removes your account, your health data, and all associated records. It cannot be undone.
